Single I: Samba Para O Vazio

The song is about the end of a love story, when one of the lovers feels the nostalgia of being trapped in the memory of their idealizations, mourning the end of a relationship that may never have existed. The recording process brought the challenge of singing a song in an unknown language that has many nuances in phonetics and the slightest change in the tone of a word can alter its meaning.

Single II: Canto De Negro - Remix

On February 21, the world will hear "Canto de Negro - Remix", a new version of a song that
carries the rich heritage of Congado Mineiro, a traditional rhythm from the interior of Minas
Gerais, Brazil, with deep African roots. The original song, from the album Sa.Li.Va., blends
the memories of Bantu peoples and other African influences, celebrating song as a symbol
of resistance and unity.
The remix is the result of a connection that formed spontaneously but, in a way, had already
been written from the creation of the song. After the album's release, an unexpected
encounter at a music fair in Morocco, facilitated by producer Nikooo, led to the invitation of
Kiltir, from Reunion Island, to bring his contribution to the track. The maloya, a musical style
with deep African roots, naturally found its place in the song, authentically expanding its
message of resistance and unity.
The collaboration between Nikooo and Kiltir wasn't just a remix; it was a continuation of a
path that had already been present in the song, as if the different cultural influences had
been preparing to meet and reinforce each other over time. The music, which already carried
the essence of memory and resistance, now gains a new dimension, once again connecting
peoples and their histories.
"Canto de Negro (Remix)" arrives on February 21, celebrating cultural exchanges and the
power of musical traditions that transcend time and borders.

Single III: Madrecita

True to its identity of transforming sensitive and challenging themes into festive and vibrant music, Ayom presents Madrecita, a song that questions our disconnection from the Earth. Born from the encounter between Brazil, Italy, and Angola, the track blends traditions and experimentation to create a sound that transcends borders. With a stretched melody that suspends the listening experience and spatial and digital elements that enhance the sense of an interconnected planet, Madrecita reflects on a world increasingly weakened by relentless exploitation.
The hypnotic pulse of the percussion, symbolizing "plata"—wealth, progress, and unstoppable development—evokes the fast-paced rhythm of modern life, a continuous flow that distances us from environmental concerns. But this disconnection has become unsustainable: if we want to continue existing, we must rethink our relationship with the Earth.
With its vibrant energy and essential message, Madrecita reaffirms music as a space for both celebration and awareness, dancing between light and the urgency of the times we live in.
